“We have received a spiritual download, and we have access to all that was won for us on Calvary.”
God’s desire is that we come to a full knowledge of what truly happens when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Something phenomenal occurs and we become not just a reborn spirit, but we receive a spiritual download and I may even say, a spiritual upgrade. Our salvation encompasses wholeness, abundance, peace, joy, power, authority…everything that was lost at the fall of Adam in the garden of Eden.
Let’s say that you just purchased the Microsoft programming package for your computer. When you pay for a subscription, are you expecting only a portion of the program to download? Of course not! You expect for the entire program with all of its content to be fully downloaded, and transferred to the computer. By the same token, when we receive the salvation that was purchased through Jesus’ blood, we received God’s wisdom, His peace, His joy, His wholeness, His love, His anointing and His position of authority.
We have received a spiritual download, and we have access to all that was won for us on Calvary. We have to know what we have before we can use it properly. Just like the programs in the computer software system, we have to open and access what has been downloaded in us. Then, we need to learn how these things work in order for the upgrade to be used beneficially in our lives.
When we are saved, we become one with Jesus, who is one with our Father, the Creator of the universe! We need a revelation of this as the church, so that we can begin to see ourselves as He sees us. We are one with Jesus in God’s eyes, and it is our Father’s heart that we truly come to a knowledge of this. Ephesians 3:19 in the Amplified version reads:
“That you may really come to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!]
Only when we realize this and begin to walk in it will we be able to experience the Heaven on earth God so desires us to have. This concept is often called being “God-inside minded,” and operates under the premise that God is our source and is literally living in and working in us. It’s Christ in us, the hope of glory, doing the work, being the answer, and bringing our supply! Make a choice to begin to spend time with God and in His word to access your spiritual upgrade today!
