“Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation[with unspeakable ecstatic delight]-” Jude 1:24
“ Jesus died so that He can present you as blameless one day to our Father with extreme joy.”
I was driving in the car this morning and suddenly this scripture came to my mind. As I listened to it, something seemed to explode within me. This is the reason why Jesus went to the cross, dying two deaths -both physical and spiritual, so that He could have the future joy of this one moment. When we stand before God’s throne (and we one day all will), if we have accepted Him as Lord over our lives, He will be able to ecstatically present us to the Father as part of His royal family, holy and without fault.
I can just imagine Jesus saying, ” With great joy, Father, I present your daughter Nicole, joint heir with Me to the throne and your daughter in Whom You are well pleased….” He may go on about things I’ve co-labored in with He and Holy Spirit and then, the Father may rise and state..” I find no fault in you. Well done My good and faithful servant…” There will be no discussion of the things I did, said or even thought that was contrary to Him and His way. No doubts or fears I had will be discussed, because our Father will only see me through Jesus’ Blood. Instead of judgement, there will only be reward. This very same glorious opportunity awaits you today also. Jesus died so that He can present you as blameless one day to our Father with extreme joy. He won’t recall ANYTHING you have ever done wrong. He will only gaze with loving eyes upon His beloved son or daughter and eagerly reward you.
I encourage you today. If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can be part of His royal family. You can one day stand before God’s throne without fear of judgement because of Jesus’ great sacrifice. You can truly be found ..blameless.
Prayer: Father, I open my heart to You today. I believe that Jesus died for me physically and spiritually-taking my place. I confess my sins before You and I choose today to make Jesus Lord over my life. Please make me part of Your royal family. Take my life and make me who You designed me to be. Today, I am Yours and You are mine!
